He may be thoughtful about other things, but his idea (that homosexuals should have nothing to complain about because they have the same rights as heterosexuals to marry members of the opposite sex) is just plain ignorant. I think thoughtful conservatives have a lot of good points. But this is just a willful disregard for common sense.
