Usually, I think of pastoral care in terms of what I recieve in care - especially care from a pastor or church leader. But from my own experiences in ministry, plus what I hear when I “talk shop” with my mom - a PC/USA pastor up in the S.F.Valley - or from my own pastor at La Vina - being the one offering pastoral care doesn’t diminish the pastoral needs of pastors. So this CT article seemed appropriate for those of us who generally recieve from the pastoral care of others.
