Maddening Marchness

Due to a Valentine’s Day gift kindness of my wife (cable TV), I got to enjoy the early moanings of March Madness this weekend with all of the NCAA conference tournaments. Wow, was that a thrill. It helps that Isa really likes watching them with me.
So here are my picks for the Round of 8. I’m not so confident beyond that. I suspect Duke & Villanova in the Final, but I’m not sticking to that.
• Duke vs. Texas
• Memphis vs. UCLA (love the #2 seed!)
• Connecticut vs. N. Carolina
• Villanova vs. FloridaUPDATE: I’m still alive with 7 of my elite-8 picks still in it.
