I’m watching the ESPYs

This is my Sunday night treat. I am a general sports enthusiast (minus baseball), so this is a great program. I would have loved to get a seat at that show on Wednesday. Plus, I thought Lance Armstrong’s opening monologue/routine was pretty funny - made fun of himself well, made fun of Brody Miller (twice) well, did pretty well for an athlete-turned-standup-for-a-night.

Scott-
I don’t mean to pry- but a friend of mine told me he was watching the espys because it was a “Boobfest” - is that why you were watching it?

Hey, just what is the matter with baseball? A’s took 3 of 4 at Fenway last weekend. What could be sweeter than that??

Cam - Its the ESPYs, not the Grammy\’s. The biggest boobs were on Jerome Bettis and the most sexual thing about the ESPYs were all of the gay jokes. So, no.
Kimberly - Don\’t get me wrong, I can get into baseball if we are talking home run highlights on SportsCenter or the Red Sox breaking the curse.
But without the hype of elimination - the belabored 181 games, the 9 inning marathon (it even needs a 7th inning stretch…) is *yawn* just to *yawn, yawn* boring. As many others have said, I think baseball may more appropriately be called America\’s \”past-its-time\” sport.
