Really, these are some photos from Isa at her physical therapy appointment, just to give an idea of what she does.











That gives you a picture of what physical therapy is like for Isa. Twice a week in the morning for an hour - keep praying for her body & brain to respond.

Those pictures are very encouraging to see. What does a sensory vest do?

The vest provides the deep pressure in her body that helps to “organize” her. That’s how the OT describes it. Because Isa’s sensory integration problems are primarily in the area of touch, deep pressure, firm touch and the like all send clear signals to her brain & help her to recieve touch input.
So the vest - which velcroes around her torso - sort of grounds her so that when she is doing other activities - like PT - she is able to receive that input without getting overloaded, so to speak.

Thanks for these photos. great to see Isa in her learning environment. Good work Isa!! and all her angels, too.
