Really, these are some photos from Isa at her physical therapy appointment, just to give an idea of what she does.

Here she is at work on sitting up without pushing her arms back, which is why she has the bench in front of her.

Sometimes she gets tired from doing this

And other time she just get down right fed up, since it tires out her neck a lot to do.

Most of her exercise are aimed at helping strengthen her neck to sit up, and at helping her to use her hands and arms to hold things.

Even though it looks like she is laying down on the job, Lina (Isa’s PT) is trying to help her to turn her head - and sometime soon, her body - towards the cone of stars with music playing.

With a little help getting it into her hand, she is holding this red star on her own.

She hasn’t yet figured out how to hold & shake this at the same time, but her face lights up when she holds this rattle & we help her to shake it.

While she hasn’t yet reached the milestone for holding her neck up automatically & consistently, she’s getting stronger bit by bit.

She is still learning how to balance herself when she holds her head up without using her arms.

That gives you a picture of what physical therapy is like for Isa. Twice a week in the morning for an hour - keep praying for her body & brain to respond.
