Catching fire.

Veronica took this photo this morning while driving on the 101 North through Echo Park while on her way with Isa to her occupational therapy appointment. She told me she saw the smoke, then heard explosion sounds, then saw the accident on the other side of the freeway ahead of her.

Somehow while she was still driving, she bravely/foolishly captured this video of the car on fire as she passed by. So much for not being a rubber-necker! (It is a greate video - click on it to watch it.)

   I don’t know what is crazier? The actual accident or the fact that Vero is filming as she is driving with Isa in the back seat? Anyway, it is always in times like those that I say, “Thank you God because it was not me or someone I know on the other side of the road”

   ok, ok, ok, enough with this madness!!! the photo I took while we were completely stopped!!!! the video — as you can see— is not really well focused, that’s because i wasn’t really looking through the camera, i held it to the window as i focused on the road!!!!

   I’m not so loca!!!! esposo mio!!!

   She used our digital camera, which she had with her to take photos/video of Isabel at therapy. So it was easy to pull it out while she drove by to capture the scene.
