Spanglish Gringo
Stories, thoughts & insights on Jesus, college students, and the Bible; Los Angeles, immigration, politics, ethnicity and culture, and also about my daughter Isabel - from a spanglish gringo father living in, learning from, leading & loving life in East L.A.
The “push, push” video is from her vision therapy. The activity is to help her grow in her awareness of her body, particularly her hands & arms, since she doesn’t have much muscle control in her arms. The vibration, music & lights also helps to teach her basic cause-effect, ie. “hey, that was me pushing that & causing everything to happen.” It is part physical & part cognitive.
Well… I think that the 3 photos are her way of telling mommy that she got dizzy from her being rolled over and over on Mommy and Daddy’s bed. I think she was so dizzy she could not help but laugh. Either that or she farted and laughed out of embarrasement.
I will agree that the after-fart happiness might give her such joy… but no that was not the case sorry– first strike! You might need to get off the Cash Cab … jijijiji

Hi Scott,
Longtime reader, selective on the comments. In the “Push, Push” video, what purpose does that exercise serve?

You wish it was embarrasment. I will have to confer with my honey to check if it is o.k. to reveal what was happening in those pics.
