What keeps me up at night (part I)
Several weeks ago, at a coalition meeting of urban youth workers in East LA, we were asked to share about ourselves by answering the question - “What keeps you up at night?”
Too be totally honest, my instinctive response was “Oh, I’ve got a picture of her in my wallet.” But then I thought, besides my daughter’s sleep issues, “what about my ministry, my campus and my neighborhood keeps me up at night?”
Since that night’s meeting, the question has stuck with me and generated some helpful reflection. So I’m hoping to begin to answer the question in a series of posts over the next 2 weeks. A series of posts since, as I’ve lost sleep over it, I realize there are probably quite a few things that have that affect on me. Things that I would deem important enough, or things that I’m passionate enough about, that - figuratively or factually - keep me up thinking at night about them.

Scott, This is a good theme for all of us to reflect on. Maybe there are ways that a few of us can interact on this question.
